Drove past the ramp on my way to work this morning. It's open. Not sure how the ice is on the rest of the bay. The two rivers are locked up. I have the day off tomorrow and I'm heading south.

Chief: I suggest bringing a sledge and steel flathead. :hammer: You may get lucky and charge through whats left, but I would break it up and move it. There is no doubt you can get in and out, its just gonna take a bit of hard work. We may be down after daybreak, or on Thurs. Good Luck. I really wish I still had my diesel w/8' Western.

Damm, just looked at the calander and someone else is off. I am gonna try for Thurs, hopefully most of that ice will pull back with tonights high tide.

Myself and my buddy Dan will be out there tomorrow as well, south of you a bit. I would bring some ice breakers as recommended. The ramp conditions seem to change daily there with the tide and the wind. The whole cove was locked up thursday almost out past the water tower, yet saturday after two days of cold temps the ramp and the cove were wide open. It was launchable sat afternoon and noone was there, prabably because of the wind. Good luck out there!
