Sorry. I have zero info on Hartwell. It should be some ducks up there though, because I think that there are some shallow areas with lots of cover that should be great for them to feed in. Let me know if you find anything out.
Lake Hartwell has anyone ever hunted it?

i live in hartwell. there are several islands on the mail river channel to try out. sometimes its a hit or miss. but i usually see ducks and/or geese everytime i go out. also there are some flooded timbers that are core property that is legal to hunt...good wood duck holes and an occasional mallard
Worked ay the lake last duck season. Saw plenty of ducks late in the season, but this year is nothing like last year so no help here? sorrry
