Yeah, I hunt with my friend and we use his bass tracker. haven't been to the lake since thanksgiving week. Don't really know how to work the lake, they dropped the water level six feet a couple of days before season came in and its hard to get anywhere due to all the stumps and shallow water. I'm not really sure what types of ducks are there. I have seen woodies, mallards, and ring-necks, some geese. I've never hunted on a lake before that and don't really know where to go. We tried the sloughs w/o much luck.
Since then I've been hunting a small area of a creek at the edge of a field. Shot a couple of woodies, but its tough to get a shot due to the thick trees and cover. Want to get back to the lake. Until it gets back up, I guess we're out of luck. Have you seen many birds on Lake Julliette?

I have hunted Lake Julliette in the past when I lived in Macon. The last time was 2000. We had some sucess hunting as close to the youth waterfowl or the DU project area as possible. There is a little bite of every type of duck that flys through GA. I never hunted ringnecks there before. I killed some teal, a few mallards and woodies. When the water was down we walked in off one the roads. Good Luck.

Try off of ebinezer rd. but I would go get a map from the check station there are alot of places to get to the lake from the rd. all are good on the niddle of the lake.

the lake turns into a creek at ebinezer face lake and go to the second cove on the right side. if you drive down the other rd. that ebinezer deadends at the boat ramp is down there. there is a good swamp on the left and the lake is on the right all the coves there are good for woodies and mallards.
