Did a chuker hunt today , my last of the season , Labs katie and Maggie have come a long way this season on these preserve hunts. Its the best way I know of to get young dogs on lots of birds . We got 6 birds in 2 hrs ,4 of them on points by labs , just got to love it. Were already jonesing for next season :thumbsup:

Congrats on the final hunt MB! I agree...although pricey, it's hard to beat a bird farm for training in a hunting situation! If I had soley trained on wild birds...well...

Yes its hard to beat, The problem in Jersey is if your a bird hunter theres no wild birds here in the state, if ya hunt them its either the over crowded state game preserve to compete for the few birds the state puts out 3 days a week or go pay at a privet preserve and have a relaxing time with plenty of birds.
