just got engaged to a gorgeous elsie hammer gun from 1901. I've shot remington target loads in it but would like to know if anyone has a low pressure bismouth load worked up for royal steel barrels? TIA

I have an old W. Richards s/s laminated steel barrels (made about 1867 according to proof marks ) that I use a few times per season on rabbits and just tried on ducks this fall but only use FFG blk powder loads of 50 gr and 1 oz of #2 steel shot, it worked OK on close in decoying ducks and has proven its meritts on rabbits many times over. I do use shot cups and buffer my shot with cream of wheat.

Keep shooting, your bound to hit something.
