Lets hear of a God given miracle in your life or someone else's life, I'll start off. Sometime ago I was hanging out after work with some of the guys and they were drinking, I had a coke. We were laughing telling story's, you know guy stuff. After some time just before I was getting ready to go home. One of the guys there who knew I was a Christian, came up to and we started talking, he wasn't feeling any pain and I felt lead to tell him, if he ever needed someone to pray for him he could count on me. He said ok.

A week or two passed and one day on the job he stopped me and asked if that offer for prayer was still available, I said you bet Tony. He then told me his wife had been to three different doctors. All said the same thing, that she had cervical cancer; if I'm not mistaken and they wanted to operate right a way. So right there in front of God my boss and the guys we worked with I prayed for her healing.

The next day I was sent to another job. A few weeks later, another Christian brother who was on that same job joined me. He came up and asked if I had heard about what happened to Tony's wife? I hadn't so I said no, he then went on to tell me that the third doctor who had diagnosed her with cancer. Just before the operation found out that the cancer that was there just a short time earlier was now gone, there was no trace of it at all. If you or a loved one is going through tough times remembers, God is still in the healing business.

Great story 870

I don't really talk about this much, I kind of just want to forget about it. This is really the first place I've mentioned it other than church. A few years back I got some ulcers in my colon. I missed out on a few weeks of eighth grade, it sucked. Then they came back the summer of sophmore year of highschool. This time they put me in the hospital for two months. The doctor said if we had waited a few more days to be checked in, I probably wouldn't have made it. They were questioning if I would even make it when I did check in. My church was very supporting and never quit praying for me. My church and family were VERY supportive. Through the whole thing I had to have three blood transfusions, and my church and family gave more than I needed.

Eventually I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis, which will be with me till I die. I just have to keep an eye on it, take medicine, and make sure it stays in remission. Every time I think of it I thank God I am here today to hunt, fish, trap, spend time with my friends and family, and worship him. As I said earlier, I don't talk about this much, but something led me to put it here.

God Bless,
Preach

About 4 yrs ago my Brother was with a friend and they were driving back from a trap shooting tournament from Jefferson, MO to Rolla, Mo where they went to college. Well it was the middle of a warm sunny day and my brother who was in the passenger seat fell asleep. A little while later his friend who was driving fell asleep also. They both woke up when they were going about 60mph in the median and his friend jerked the wheel over (pure instinct) to get back on the road and it put the S-10 into a slide, then when the front wheels contacted the pavement again it sent the truck into a roll. According to a truck driver that was just behind them he said they rolled about 4 times then flipped end over end about 4 times then rolled another 2 or 3 times. My brothers friend walked away from the crash with just a bruise on his knee, My brother however had broken his neck.

Just after this happened a Doctor just happened to be driving by and stopped( but later told us that he normally doesn't stop at wrecks since a friend of his who was a doctor performed CPR on a guy at a wreck, saved the guys life but the guy sued him later for cracking his sternum and won) But for some reason he decided to stop. He diagnosed my brother and called back 911 and told them to send life flight and for them to pack on board a certain steroid shot that is not normally carried. Then he had to convince everyone not to pull my brother out of the car even though they all though the car could catch on fire.

Once Life flight arrived they got my brother out of the car and onto a stretcher. But when they went to carry him to the helicopter they had to lift him over this fence, but their was a ditch in front of this fence and it made it to where there was no one there who was tall enough to lift him over. Then they said out of nowhere 2 extremely tall guys showed up and lifted him over. But they both left before anyone could get a name from them or talk to them.

They flew him into the hospital at The University of Missouri. They rushed him in and took an x-ray and found he had broken his C-3 and C-4 vertebrae. At this point in time the diagnosis was IF HE LIVES he will be completely paralyzed from his shoulders down.

They decided to operate, and it just so happened that the #1 doctor in America in spinal cord injuries just happened to be at MU for a conference. They asked him to do the surgery and he said yes. They operated and it was a success. When the doctor came out to talk to us he said that his vertebrae were completely crushed and the literally the only thing holding his head on was his neck muscles. He said that if it had broken one vertebrae higher or lower than those 2 either his heart would have stopped or his breathing would have stopped. However he did change his diagnosis to he is going to live and that he might regain some mobility and said if it had not been for the doctor who stopped and ordered the life flight bring to that shot he most likely would have died.

So after a week in the hospital they transferred him to a rehab clinic in Kansas City. He was there for 3 weeks and then he started to regain his feeling and 3 months later he was up and walking again. And within the year he had regained approx. 98% of his strength and the only mobility that he lost is he cant look up as far (he lost about 10% of that) of what he originally could but he can look down just fine. If you were too see him today you would never know anything had ever happened, even his scar from the surgery is almost gone.

So thats my story and it is only by the grave of God that he was able to not only survive that accident but to get away with only loosing about 10 % of motion to look up and maybe some arthritis down the road is a true miracle.

That's an amazing story! I can't even imagine what you were going through. As I was reading your story a verse came to mind, when you said that you needed someone tall enough to lift your brother over the fence, then all of a sudden two tall men showed up. In Hebrews 13:2 It says, "Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by doing so some have unwittingly entertained angels." I believe God has angels down here to help us from time to time. Also in Hebrews it says about angels in verse 1:14 "are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?" Lets stand in faith and believe that God will finish the work He started and your brother will regain what little he's lost.

i don't know if you concider this a miracle or not, but on easter i took my gf to church. and she liked it.
I'd say that's more of a blessing than anything else. It does fit in with this topic though. Good to hear she liked it, maybe she'll start getting involved. Good luck.

Driving back to the shop in January it started to rain lightly. The dirt roads began to glaze over making driving more of an adventure.
As I started down the last hill, the work van was totally out of control. Even going 5 mph there was no steering or braking. The crown in the road was not helping either.
As the van was heading towards the ditch I asked God "for a little help here".
Immediately the van righted, and held a straight line the rest of the way down that hill as God himself reached down, took hold, and guided it for me.
Thank You Lord.

My brother, a fat guy, had the bypass done at 360 pounds. He didnt take care of himself, ate like a maniac. He got down to 170 pounds when his intestines seperated from his body cavity. His intestines flopped causing strangulation, and he damn near died in the waiting room while screaming in agony. When he finally crashed they wheeled em into surgery where they found that his intestines where indeed dead. The surgeon, a VERY religous man, removed all but about 19" of intestine and reversd the bypass. When the surgeon came to the waiting room with chunks of my brother all over him to explain what was going on said that my brother was to far gone, and, the toxins from the decaying intestins would kill him by the naxt day... He said we needed a miracle. That was a year and half ago. Brother got down to 136 pounds and looked like a walking skelaton. Today he is 185 pound and looks preaty good. I am convinced this was a miracle...AMEN

Back in highschool I used to party alot and one day before football we were playing around on the bumper of my friends explorer jumping up and down on it and he took off got up to about 35 took a corner and I went flying off. I hit the pavement and broke my skull in 3 places and had a brain hemerage. I was supposed to die within 24 hours and by the grace of god i survived. After that I started truly believing in god.
