Looking for other hunters to hunt the Colorado river near Austin but also willing to drive(maybe eagle lake) and anywhere else near Austin. Im a senior at UT right now and grew up hunting at ST. Charles Bay Club in Rockport, TX and in Peekaboo Idaho. Leave a comment if ur interested.

I have kayaks and I have a 19 ft aluminum center console plus more decoys that God. What do I need to bring?? I would love to get up there. I lived in Leander for a short spell.

That is right. That pertains to lakes that lcra built for power plants or flood control for example fayette county. They own the water because they built the lake and own all the land around it. But since the Colorado river is a navigable stream it is not privately owned which lcra is a private company. There may be county specific restrictions further north than me where the water is regulated but not down here.
