Good luck and be safe. Hunted a buddies rice by Nelson and the wind was howling! The nastiest wind I have ever hunted in, but the birds were flying. Fun hunt. Anyways, to anyone and everyone hunting in this storm, be careful. In your boats, and in your vehicles, be cautious. And good luck.

talk about miserable weather to be in! I was at a friends club in the rice just north of Sac airport and blowing around 35-50mph the sprig and wigeon are covering the skys. my father always told me the hunting is never good above 30mph and is just a waste of time.. today proved that wrong. we ended at 11 with 4 sprig, 5 wigeon, a gw and a spoonie. we could have stayed longer and worked the wigeon more but being soaked through my rubber jacket pretty much calls the day a done'r! had a blast though, best hunt of my life right there!
