Well I got er out this past weekend...

Very, Very stable, and could most likely hold more weight than it has room for !!!:yes:
Paddles great with little effort, but on the downside doesn't track very good. My buddy made a similar boat and was using a kayak paddle, which helped in paddling a lot.
So...all I need to do is get a kayak paddle and she should be good to go.

Even caught quite a few panfish and some accidental bass, including this 41/2 pounder.

for future boats....or maybe even possibly an add-on....you may wish to consider a small keel on the centerline....and even a couple of keelsons.....that would make tracking ALOT better and easier......It is surprising the impat a half inch of keel on the centerline will have!

I'm sure that this question seems amatuer, but how the heck did you make that thing? At first glance it looks scary...but I am sure it is stable. Do you have any info on making one of those crazy little things?

It's time to get back in DUCK MODE and the first thing I did was check on your boat. I was very glad to hear that it all worked out well. did you use the boat much over the summer?

Now that you have had the boat for some time I have a couple of questions before I start mine. If you were to do it all over would you do anything different? and are you ok with the size of the boat or would you make the next one bigger? I can't make up my mind if I'd be better off with two 8' boats or to build a boat big enough for 2 hunters, since you have been thier done that what do you think?
