I've thought about taking a trip up to Minnesota. And was wondering if anyone could give me some helpful advice for hunting up there... I'd rather not hire a guide, but if necessary I could..
If I were you and were going to travel a simlar distance I would hunt NoDak instead. Alot less hunters there and more places to hunt there than here in MN. It is overcrowded here in Mn already-competion for the better public hunting spots often means being there at 3 am to get a spot. As time goes on--I hunt MN ducks less and less-frankly just too big of a pain in the arse. If you do go-try along western Mn. Morris area is still good at times and far away from the Twin Cities that it does not get hammered too hard.
