TOUGH GUN , interchangeable with 500 parts (barrel, chokes). i use a 24" rifled slug barrel with 3" sabot 3/4 oz. slugs and at 100 yds. will drop a deer in its tracks. i also use a 28" with mod. choke good with 000 duckshot on runners at 50+ yds. either way it works. (WARNING: KICKS LIKE A MULE)

Thanks for replying.Everyone else i hunt with says its just a home gun, not a hunting gun.Hell i got hunting guns but i want to try cheap one against their $800 guns.Shooting clays tomorrow with it. I just cant find an X-Full choke for it.

I have owned mine for about 3 years now .My hunting buddy also shoots one.It is our primary waterfowl guns. The weekend warrior laugh and scoff at them. But hide and watch whose birds are droppin.Model 88 has not had 1 problem.Ive shot 23/4 dove loads ,3 inch ducks loads including hevi-shot,its a consistent shooting gun, even if you use it for a hammer, paddle or walking stick.
