 Man!!!! I am so frikin jealous. Your dog is doing great. My dog wouldn't even get in the water without me in it with him. ACE didn't really like water until he was about 4 months old. now i can't get him out of it. Your doing a really good job. Let him deside how far he should go, with just a little push from you. I have been seriously considering another pup for a couple of months now. I have been searching for a female to match up to my male. I want to have another pup in the family so bad.

Slow is how I'm going to take it...Force fetch and collar isnt in my plans..I think if I can just continue to just make him know what I enjoy he will enjoy also..
By the way..there was a spot out there he didnt feel comfy with...actually he ran back to the boat....went there today and he retrieved but whined about it...guess what we found???
A freaking snake...by the shore following us...and this water is so merky that if its over 6" deep you cant see in it..and this sucker was in about 5" water...do ya suppose he smelt or sensed it?
If I had my gun I wouldve blowed its head off(even though firearms is prohibeted in this area)Scared the sht outa my blonde daughter..LOL.
I was messin with it with my check cord that i bring .
It was brown with diamond pattern on its back..about 3 ft long..
Dont know what type of snake it was..but here in northern Indiana we hardly have snakes..
But hey..made for an exciting day.

PS..update on what type of snake...could've been 1 of 3 and the 3rd being a cotton mouth but rare in indiana and only in southern part of the state.. other 2 where just water snakes..
it didnt try to strike..but just follow us and check us out...
