Thanks. I just saw on brownings website that it takes a turnkey plug. Browning sent me the plug for free with a hat and decals so it’s hard to complain. But I’m sure they didn’t send the right plug.
Four and a half inches.
You have a magazine capacity of 4 shells. You want to reduce that to 2 shells, so you need a plug that is the same length as two 2 3/4" shells. That would be 4 1/2".
But, 1/2" wooden dowels are cheap. You can always cut another one.....
Keep in mind, the difference between two 3" shells and two 3 1/2" shells is...........one inch. That may be why 5 stand's plug is slightly more than 1" longer than needed for a 2 3/4" or 3" gun. Which gun is yours, Wally??
