How big of flocks are you trying to bring into 6 goose floaters? If there is more than a single or pair you will have a hard time bringing them in with only 6 floaters. If you are a GREAT caller you can decoy geese with fewer dekes, but if not it helps to have more decoys.
Unless you're where the geese want to be you're going to have a tough time bringing in anything other than singles with 6 dekes. Geese aren't as likely as ducks to just drop by. They are usually on a mission, either to eat or back to their roosting/loafing area. You'd be best off watching where they land and hunt there or getting more decoys to peak their interest.
Now as far as singles and doubles, I've decoyed them no problem with 5 canadas and the rest mallards. They're a lot more vulnerable and willing to land.
