·Just found this site - thought I'd provide some basic info....
> goose numbers are very good and continue to grow in Coastal NH
> woodies are still around in some marshes - I was in the foothills of eastern NH on Sunday and saw quite a few - with the weather being warm (60 degrees) they should still be here for the last weekend of the first season
> Scoters, especially whitewings, are abundant in NH coastal areas typical for their activity
> Eider flocks are building big-time in Southern Maine waters - the mussel beds are covered at low tides
I'm 'on the fence' whether I should head out for the first day of deer season Saturday or hit the ocean early - then head out behind the house in the afternoon!
