Not sure how many of you remember me, but I have hunted with a few of you guys over the years. Use to be active under MNOutdoorsman-something. Forgot my name and password and got busy over the years. Definitely remember a layout hunt on Mille Lacs a few years back with a few people from this forum, I was the guy who brought the homemade layout boat and took a very relieving piss right off the front of goldies boat.

Anyways, I've got a lot of free time this season so I was thinking about making a trip out to ND for their early goose before our season starts. If anyone is interested in joining me I'd enjoy the company and not having to solo it. Got around 9 dozen full bodies not that I plan on using em all unless I can find a big feed, but might as well bring em, and a 37 foot camper if anyone needs a place to sleep. Don't really have a date in mind or anything, more than likely would just be a drive out there when others are available to join, do some scouting, knock on some doors, and wing it type of hunting. More than likely would be hunting the eastern zone, however I do know a lot of people around the Dunn center/Killdeer/Halliday area in the western zone and if I hear good numbers from them it may be worth the trip out there. I'm based out of the St. Cloud area if anyone wanted to ride with me to cushion the blow on fuel costs as well. I'll do my best to check up on this forum during the season and host a few hunts during the year, but the app never works that great for my phone. Let me know if anyone is interested!

I drove 94 a few weeks ago from bismark to fargo when the geese started flying, certainly saw more geese then ducks in that corridor and the wheat should be coming off pretty fast, good luck to ya!

That layout hunt was... well we got a few guys together. Lol.

My coworkers friend was out there hunting yesterday and today, and they've been putting the smackdown on birds. 46ish yesterday and I can't remember if it were 50 or 60-ish today.

Couldn't believe they found a big enough feed to get those numbers already but they had a really big feed lined up.

I was on one layout extravaganza not sure if it was same one. I remember goldfish n hillbilly teamed up with a stranger at the ramp. Still keep in touch with all of em….
Most years I’d take you up on the NoDak offer. This year I can’t swing it with other commitments. Early season out there can be very humbling but I’m still jealous of those that are sending it.

That was a different hunt. And I'm glad we met Brian. He's a good dude. I owe him one heck of a hunt for the goose hunt he put me on.
