ive been wanting to get the stealth 2000. alot of people swear bye it.its 13 feet though. maybe the final attack would be better its only 8 feet. the phantom boat doesnt look like it would be very stable. the 13 footer would handle rougher water though.

The Stealth 2000 is a great little duck boat it's easilied concealed, very stable, there's enough room for your gear and dog. I power mine with a 2hp Honda for hunting river channel's. I picked mine up this Oct and have had alot of fun out of it...BTW it's only 12'.

Yes, that's how I haul it around and if you have a dog crate it fit's in the hull beautifully. I drive a Ford F-250 long bed it does stick out a couple of feet with the tailgate down, so I strap on a orange flag to the rubber bunges that hold the dry compartment down just in case. These thing's are deadly in the marsh.

I have a Carsten Pintail. It's about 13 ft and very stable. Can hold 2 hunters, dog and 2 dz dekes. It tracks great with me and dog, but gets a little sluggish with two hunters and a dog. Hangs off the back off my short bed quite a bit, but still works fine with an old blaze orange vest tied on back. Whatever you get, make sure you buy a kayak paddle. Handles much better.

I just purchased the stealth about 3 weeks ago, just in time for duck season. I absolutely love it. It fits nicely into the 8' bed of my f250. I transpport it with the tailgate up, and use just one strap through the front handle and connected to the two rear stanchion holes and it stays put. It is only 100 pounds and I can get it in and out without any trouble. As to use on the water, let's just say that I do not believe they make a more stable boat in this size class. In buying it, I debated over the various models and quickly eliminated the phantom and the final attack, leaving my two choices down to the Stealth 1200 and the 2000. I concluded that the little difference in price was not worth it to gain just one gun holder and loose the side storage slots, plus only gain an inch or two in the cockpit. Also, I liked having the front and rear dry storage compartments on the 1200 vs. only one on the 2000. The first time out, we had two hunters, a dog, two guns, shells, and about 4 dozen decoys. This thing was not only rock solid, but went through the water with the greatest of ease. You will not go wrong with this boat.
