I agree there should be a ban on all pictures of puppies on this board. Mine pup is only 8 months old and I am already looking forward to my next one.

Hold up a sec, State duck stamp? We have a migratory game bird license. But it is just a strip of paper, not a stamp. Hmmm, I would like to know more about this. ACE had a good idea...show em please.

apparently Oregon used to have a state migratory bird stamp and also a state upland stamp. now it is just a fee we pay and a validation on the license. it is still referred to as a "stamp" though and for awhile you could request to receive one in the mail if you bought the validation. the first year i hunted here i got my upland stamp in the mail. as i am not a collector, i rarely take the 2 minutes to call and request them anymore.

Maine used to issue a stamp as well but now its just a check off item on the license. They still have the state duck stamp competition but if you want one you have to send away for it.You have to pay for it too even if its already checked off on your license

In IL we get a federal and a state stamp, which go on the back of our licenses. We also have a HIP number, something about the gov wanting to know how many birds I been droppin out of the sky.

PS. Banning puppy pics must enacted!! I vote to start the DHCMAPP chapter now.

When I got my migratory game bird licence they asked me what I harvested last year. Had to check off how many different kinds of birds I shot...the numbers were disturbingly low.
