Has anyone floated in the middle of a lake in a small boat w/dekes and have any success?whats the trick.I have a 9' marsh boat I thought about floating in the middle of a lake with a camo burlap laid over me.The reason I'm asking is I've never tried and the lake is so low its out the tall grass and any other cover.I've notice alot of ducks out in the open.Any advice would work. :help:

Yes. It is calling layout boat hunting. Principally for divers and sea ducks. But double check state laws as some states it is illegal to do so. There may be a thread in the diver forum about layout boat hunting.
