Pretty darn well in fact. A limit of geese and a near limit of ducks. Practicing calls really paid off as the birds were happy to do as they were told, some geese making 3 or more passes across a tough set-up and ducks falling into the spread as though they had parachutes on. Ain't life grand?
One of the best openers I've ever had, that's for sure. Us five guys limited out in two hours with thirty ducks on Saturday. Today we were down to three of us and only shot 12, but got five geese as they flew over. It was a blue-bird weekend and 75 degrees, so I give it an overwhelming success!!!
