Maggie is going to her first H.R.C field trial tomorrow. She is entering in the Started Hunter Class. I am nervous and excited all at once. I read the rules for started hunter and she shouldn't have a whole lot to worry about. I think I am being too over confident. Is there any advice for the greenhorns??

Thanks guys! I am way excited. There are 4 legs to the S.H. title. It is pretty basic. 4 birds, 2 on land 2 on water.

Congrats to you and your pup :getdown: Me and meghan had a win as well the wisill & badger stats HRC Hunts last weekend she past bouth tests all we need is just one more to move up to seasoned this is a photo from day one

Congrats goosen, I have found my new off season hobby. I wish I would have stayed for the second day/test, but I had to get back home. The great dane has puppies so we couldn't stay. The vice president of the H.R.C. came all the way to Washington to help out, they are way cool people.

I remember my first started HRC test, I was so nervous. My dog did great and a year later, with lots of hard work, she earned her HRCH. Have fun running your dog in HRC tests.
