I have used Outlaws for about 10 years and have had no problems. They don't shine on sunny days! And everything breaks when you try to jam it in concrete hard frozen ground.

I recommend you bring something to make holes if the ground is frozen. I bought a ground punch to make the holes when the ground it frozen. It works great. I saw another person using a piece of rebar and a small sledge. The ground punch is much easier. All you have to do is step on it.

Real Geese has a good product now. They basically copied the Outlaw approach of getting a photographic image and placing it on a rigid plastic sheet. Either product will serve you well.

Though it is purely anecdotal evidence, we seem to do better when we mix a couple dozen full body decoys or shells in the total spread, rather than a pure silhouette approach.
