as i stated earlier... i put heaters in my canoe.....now im thinkin removeable swivel seats........is that dumb to put in a canoe

how wide is this canoe??? you want to stay pretty low in them to keep the center of gravity low....you put swivels and seats in and your going to be much higher then ou are now, and loaded with gear and partner might not be a good idea....post some pics if you can, I'd like to see what the heating set up you have looks like!

......ya the center of gravity thing was something i thought about but what i wanted to do is make them detachable so i could just throw them on when i'm lodged in the cattails........i'll grab some pics of my heater setup this weekend...they're at my mammas house........(just got married and moved to the cities)........BOOO CITIES

:withstupid: the width of the canoe is very important when considering this, though for some cash you can buy or even make an outrigger that will make your canoe more stable with or without the seats. Swivel seats have been done in other canoes, so beyond the width issue..go for it.

well heres my project......i hadda throw in a permanant DU decal to show the ducks that i support them b4 i killem.........the heaters themselves...you can see that the valves are underneath the installed mount.....and the sunflower part is detachable



and these two are just pics of one of the heaters......i had one old mr. heater and hadda buy a new one so this is before my new heater came in the mail....





enjoy and lemme know any improvements

and dont mind the rubbers.......those are for the rookies when they wanna come...hehe
