I'm sure this has been done before, but it looks like I signed up a little too late. Go ahead and post up some pictures of your pup and say a little something about them like what kinds of tests your run with them, what their first retrieve was, etc.

Haley is a soon-to-be 3 year old female yellow lab. I've trained her myself along with a few words of wisdom from a pro trainer friend of mine when I got in a bind. No hunt tests or field trials for me. Just shooting and retrieving ducks. Her first retrieve was a hen widgeon during the 2002-2003 season.

Here she is on one of the hunts last season where it was just her and I. Definitely one of my favorite hunts!

Great picture quill. What speed film and shutter speed was that. It had to be fast to get that detail. Excellent picture!!

I'd post him up, but you guys would laugh cause he is a Brittany. I do have a picture with him on a day which we shot 5 quail, 16 ducks, and three honkers. He tried to retrieve a goose, but he ain't big enough.

I guess I will post up a picture of him when I get home this weekend. No laughter though guys.

TX, first go here to this link
1. http://www.duckhuntingchat.com/album_upload.php?cat_id=1

Your file size cannot be over the limit that is posted on this page.

2. Choose a title for your pic and description if you like then click the BROWSE button.

3. Find your pic on your computer then hit submit. If everything is right it will upload your pic to the forum pic gallery.

4. Now find and open your picture in whatever folder up put it in. It should open and you see just your pic there.

5.Then right click on the picture, a box should come up and at the bottom you will see properties.

6. Click on properties a box appears with info and where is says address (URL) hold the left mouse button down and highlight the address starting with http://........... Once this is highlighted let go of the mouse button (the address should now be highlighted).

7. Go up to edit at the top of you screen click it, then select copy.

8. Go to whichever post you want to put your pic in and after hitting reply of course in the narrative box click on Img button on top right should appear now in the box.

9. Go back up to edit at the top of your screen click it and select past and the http:// that you highlighted should show up now.

10. Then click submit at the bottom as your normally would and if all goes well it should accept it and you should see your pic.

Also if you find a pic on the internet that already has a http:// address (if its on the web it does) follow steps 5-10.
Hope I covered it all for you any prob. let me know. I know it seems like alot but once you do it once or twice you got it down then.

Here's my boy finding out what meat on the hoof means, for the first time.

KS, have you tried the Brittany or geese yet? I was just wondering if their to big for them in the water?

We shot some Canadas 2 weeks ago. He tried to pick it up, but just ain't big enough. Since he is white, we take him snow goose hunting and let him lay in the decoys. He has found snows that have sailed off several times. He likes just carrying snows around in his mouth for some reason.
