The only way I can hunt ducks now is on public land  . I only have 2 areas close enough to be worth entering the blind drawing. Anyway, both areas are on rivers (fairly small and both flow into the Illinois River) and all of the blind locations (you can't build a blind farther than 10' from the marker) are along the shoreline. They are one after the other only about 200 yards apart at most. Does this even sound like its worth hunting? It is kind of my last resort.

I hunt ducks almost exclusively on public land. We have guys set up within 50 yards of us and still kill ducks. Give these places a try. You can't kill them at home in the living room. I hunt rivers when everything else freezes up, and they can be awesome hunting.

Are you trying to subtly tell us you are gay with that pic??? :umm: :toofunny:

As for public hunting.... well do not get the hopes up too high and if you actually get something it is a bonus at that point.
