I don't think its ever too early to go scouting. Just go out once in a while earlier in the season, but as you get closer to grind time, head out more often.

Always keep your eyes open work on blinds on proven spots thoughout the year, and scout some within the week before season mainly to check water levels and to observe whats around for a duck population and what areas they are used to using. Remember also that it'll be easier to bring them into spots that they're already using. :cool:

i don't think you can ever do to much scouting even if there aren't ducks down yet you can scout the land and the trian and find places that you think will hold ducks and then move from there

Think of the motto "if it flies it dies".... now go put it into practice. Scout em when you see em and kill em when its season.
