The Rule of Law concept was devised specifically for times like this when mob rule has taken over. Unfortunately, those who swore an oath to uphold the rule of law are the mob, and they simply mouthed the words with no intention of following any of it, as it was just one more step in the process to total control over the people.

Michael Moore expresses so well the compliance and binary mindset of so many who arrogantly think they know better.

Just as Moore never considered where electricity comes from beyond those holes in the wall, he believes virtue masks are saving lives even though evidence seems to indicate they serve no purpose at best, and oddly seem to be correlated to places with higher infection rates.

There are many ways to deal with the Wuhan. It is not just to participate in the experimental phase or not. :fingerhead:

So, if Texas only needs a percentage of the experimental vaccine allocated to them, then send it somewhere else. :fingerhead: Why does anyone care? Its not like someone is taking something from another. There is plenty to go around.

Geez. You cannot walk into our local Wally without some busy bodies chasing you down asking personal question, and trying to convince you to take the jab at the giant mobile medical center parked in the lot.

Vaccinate yourself if you like and you are shielded from the Wuhan and the woke mob.

The only reason for the vaccine passports is they cannot force every human on the plant to immediately bend to their will.
Exactly. If the vaxed get and spread the virus, just like the non-vaxed, then it is a personal decision based upon risk assessment. :fingerhead:

Thus the "show me your papers" push is all about compliance and control... think Germany 1940s and the USSR. I truly believe that is the long game which is looking pretty short term at the moment. The socialists who want the One World Order see all of this as the chance of a lifetime and why they MUST keep it going with Delta, Schmelta and Yada-yada-yada variant.

Utopian movements produce dystopias.
So far, that has been correct every single time, but the democrat party today thinks they will get it right this time. The previous attempts at great central control just lacked their brilliance.

My sister who works for pfizer will tell you when she does not know something. She is very clinical like that. However, she will tell you that in thirty years of pharma chemical engineering, she has never seen a "vaccine" or any drug remain in use with so many adverse reactions.

The normal process would be to take it down to study why some subgroups are negatively impacted, such as young healthy males who suddenly have heart problems. Or limit its use, such as to seniors over the age of whatever or to people with several comorbidities. For them, it is kind of a calculated risk. But to risk young, healthy men, women of child bearing age, etcetera is cray-cray when they have such a low risk assessment.

But pay no attention to the problems behind the curtain and listen to the Great and Powerful Fauci. He funded the thing and has nothing to hide.

This is not new, but has just taken a sinister turn.

Motor Trend was always accused of "selling" the Car or Truck of the year to the company who paid them the most advertising dollars. I can look the other way and roll my eyes on that one, but there is no doubt pfizer and others are not only influencing content with millions in advertising dollars, but are also spending millions on lobbying firms who channel money to the right packs in order to stay in compliance with idiotic campaign finance laws.

So true Lil Dinamo. The Swamp Fauci funded this disaster and yet, so many gullible people continue to worship this incompetent fool as if he is the Oracle of all Knowledge.

However, as Limbaugh used to say, "Liberals are liberals first and foremost, and everything else is a distant second", so even though PETA is upset about the horrible animal experiments, PETA is a liberal organization and I think they will give him a pass as a fellow leftist liberal, as long as he puts out some phony apology.

Fauci, I just think he has a serious case of intellectual short-man's syndrome. He's very insecure so he overcompensates by acting like he knows everything and aggressively responding to those that point out that he does not.
Agree with your analysis of the Swamp Fauci, but I hate the term short-man syndrome or Napoleon complex. I've had mostly good bosses, men and women, through my work life, but I have had three total dbags. They were also the three tallest. So in my view, they had tall-man syndrome.

Fauci articulates one of the most important constitutional changes we should have. Term limits for bureaucrats. These ****ing people should not be "serving" the people for generations. It's not "their" government or "their" agency. It's all the people's, but when you are there for your decades, you are prone to forget that.
Absolutely agree 100%, but good luck with that. The people I know who have gone to work for the government start counting the days to retirement on day 2. Only 10,999 days to go until I get paid for the rest of my life for not working.

It would really be awesome if there was a ten year limit. You can work for the government (at any level) for ten years only. Then you have to get a real job where there are performance targets and the real possibility of getting fired if you are bad at your job.

My sis in law worked for the federal gubment for 30 years, and not one day more. She was always on vacation or comp time or sick days or flex days or something. Literally took a month off to go to Europe and never got a call or glanced at email. Though I'd ask her in casual conversation about what she did, I could never figure it out. Sounded like she checked boxes on form to document that government contractors were doing the real work.

Without any exaggeration, for a year at a time, they had nothing for her and others to do, and unlike the real world, they were not laid off. They were told to go to the local community colleges and take any courses they wanted. Tax payers covered the bill, and all they had to do is turn in the 37.5 hour timecard.

Utter waste, but pales by comparison to this congress.

I would guess with Ukraine and their desperate need for a well regulated militia will shut-up Creepy Joe and the other anti-gun people about - Why would anyone need more than a five round magazine???

I believe the sack of stupid Creepy Joe quipped about deer wearing Kevlar vests. Hey Creepy, Ukraine is not being attacked by deer. Turns out the founders were a bit brighter than the progressives.

I am thinking we might want to put javelins on store shelves as well in order to have a well regulated militia. Add the operation of it to hunter safety class.

So glad the Economist let me know this was not to scale. :D

I think it's good politically that it came out well in advance the over reaction will die away and liberal states will pass crazy laws allowing abortion on demand until at least birth.
In competitive business development (defined as long sales cycles and long term contracts), if you know the competition will hit you with something, you want to out that yourself as early as possible in the process so that people can better grasp whether it is really a deal breaker or not. You do not want it coming up at the very end as an "October Surprise." Then if the competitor drops that turd, the customer knows how to get it off their laps without touching it. :poop:

I see this as you do Spinner. People will come unglued in an emotional kneejerk, and then settle into the fact that what has changed is states now have the issue. Some will remain cranked up, but those useful idiots stay cranked up anyway and really do think the Gentle Giant dropped to his knees, put his hands up and begged Don't Shoot.

What really has the left cranked up is they will have to get baby killing passed as a law rather than using the unelected black robe hacks to do the dirty work.(y) Things just became much more challenging for the communists.

And that is how a nation dies. To a very vocal and active minority, this makes perfect sense, and they have just the empty shell in the White House to continue on that path.
