All calls are raspy to a certain extent, you just need to find the one that you like. Here's a bunch of calls I have found to be fairly raspy. Double nasty, SGC Nasty Boy and lucille, quackhead timbre and quack stacker, all the haydel's, primos, I mean this list could go on and on and on. I don't think this thread is gonna provide a real answer to your question other than you're gonna have to experiment and find one for yourself. :thumbsup:

I dont mean not clear....I MEAN RASPY RASPY!!! Thats why I emphasized.

Ive got an old wooden call, with no markings at all, that is FAR raspier than ANY poly... It aint an ear splitter however, but, that works around here...For really raspy quacks, Id stick with wood, but, thats just me :yes: :yes: :yes:

The duck comander just came out with a new call called the duck picker or "jase's pic". you can get it at wall mart. anyways it is double reed and RASPY and sounds great. also the hag by primos is pretty raspy. would rather have the DC though.
If you want something expensive but raspy the RNT daisy cutter is awesome!!

Im not trying to advertise or anything, but i have an unkown wood, duck call that is the raspiest thing i have ever heard.

quackwacker, the SGC Nasty Boy may just be what you're looking for. i have one that i don't blow because i like the a less raspy sound. let me know if you're interested. :thumbsup:
