What are you spending your refund check on?

I AM planning on putting it to good use: I am buying a professional model video camera this summer . It is the best thing I can figure to spend money on that will get me thru the yrs of the darn Democrate (sp) Gov. that is about to take place . Atleast this way I can still go shoot ducks and geese. Even a deer or two durning the gun ban yrs . Ahead. BOY I got to vent more often. any way not on here..... I will spend mine wisely though. hopefully we get some cool hunts in this year..........Lostpup

Not repairing your local lakes with it? Carlyle? Rend? Nothing in the local area?

As bad as the local lakes are around here we might as well not even hunt them. With out major over hauls and my yearly wages won't go far, although I like the idea of helping caryle out as they need as many ducks as they can get up there it is about to eat me out of house and home, planting food and pumping water. I'll just stick to VIDEO........but if we all pitched in with our neighbor as a newbe to hunting also we could fix the duck #'s so others in the state can hunt the BIGGEST lake also.........Lostpup

I got a letter today explaining how the rebate check works. It does not look like I am getting crap back. There are all kinds of things you need to "qualify" for to get the full $600. Booooo. GRRRRRRR

i will be taking it to arlington race track and tripling it then i will be off to bass pro or cabelas

I read today that you have to fill out some additional paperwork when filing your taxes to get this extra refund. Has anyone else seen this?

Hope turbotax does it automatically...

The letter I got just said I had to file an income tax return. No extras were needed.

Nothing extra to do. Just fill out your 2007 tax return and you will receive your handout check. Some people that normally don't have to file, such as some people on social security, may be eligible for some money. To get it, they have to fill out a tax return, even though they won't owe any taxes. If you have parents or grandparents that don't normally file, you might want to see if they are eligible and fill out a tax return for them. Better hurry, they are due in 4 days. Check out the IRS website and you can find out all the info.

I'm heading to Florida and going to take a tarpon fishing trip. Wish me luck.

Probably would have done it anyways, but the extra money in the budget definite removed any doubt.
