Just learning to hunt sea ducks. Any reccommendations for decoys and spreads. Have heard gallon milk bottles, old decs , etc. :?: :?: painted black work? :?:

try sleds if you want to make your own - or use lobster pot bouys split in half. Make a head shape from plywood and notch into the bouy half, then afix a keel and weight it with strap lead. Easy to make and very inexpensive. Paint to desired scheme for the birds you are after.

Old decoys or really cheep ones painted like blubills golden eyes etc work great try long lining nthem though it takes a lot of the work out of it.
