I've done several but of all the ducks brought in this species seems to be THE one for slippage issues especially on the abdomen . They've been handled the same way as other ducks Is there a reason ,,diet etc. ?? :help:
The few I have had slip are teal. Most were shot and had abdomen fluid leaking, mix that with thin skin and you may have your answer. Also warm weather and not getting cool fast enough. I had one went multiple times in and out of the freezer that had it happen again was a teal. If it is a ongoing issues I have read using stoprot and also denatured alcohol to help prevent it getting worse.
