Belle 6 months today. Obedience is good, collar conditioned, introduced to water, gun fire, and birds. Been on place command for a week or so, and dabbling in force fetch. Showing tremendous drive but can shut it off for the family. So awesome can't wait to see where she takes me.

Thought our numbers were down from what I seen. But the high water means lots more options for the birds and hunters. Scouted some areas I haven't been into for years in the fall. HOPEFULLY I can get away from the crowds and have an opener where I don't have to worry about birds setting into my spread getting shot by someone else.

Well I'm no Tsamp but when Covid shut down my baseball coaching duties I turned my attention to my pup. Today we achieved our goal of Senior Hunter. Been a fun ride, ran and trained on some amazing properties and met some fine folks. Can't wait to see the real payoff in the duck blind. 8 days till early goose!
