Has anyone ever fished the Smokey Hill? We're going to try it tonight. Hope fully it'll produce some big cats. Post up if you've ever fished it, and let me know how you did... Thanks,

Used to fish it years ago... like 40 yrs ago...and yeah used to be some big ones... and have heard old timer stories of fish traps and whatnot... around abiline.... further west around wilson when i was a kid in hischool... we used to go out on summer afternoons clubbin carp with a busted off pool cue.... uhhhhhhhh probably get arrested for that now... LOL..and wouldnt do it anymore anyway....*S* friend of mine used to noodle there too..and got some big ones.... other than that...havent fished there for years.... *S*.

well... we caught about 8 channels...................... about as long as pencil... my dad hooked a decent flathead, probably about 3lbs. We couldn't find any deep holes though, so we're going to do a little more scouting.
