Like to try some snow goose hunting here on the east side of the Hudson River, over by the CT border.

I belong to a club that leases a couple of thousand acres of corn fields and woods, with a few ponds, puddle and marshy area's, During the fall I see loads of Canada geese, occasionally some flocks of snow geese. I have never been there during Feb-March which is our snow goose season so I have no idea of the migration.

Do we get a huntable migration here in SE NY or is it wishful thinking?

Thanks, Rob

Sometimes, not regularly though. Scout, here today gone tomarrow most of the time. All depends on weather and a whole lot of luck depending on where you are. We have been seeing more snows in the fall than in the past so maybe migration patterens are changing a little. Good luck. If you find some let me know, maybe we can get them together. I'll do the same.
