Has anyone used a spinning wing decoy in their diver spead? I hunt the Niagara River (NY) and I usually put out 150-200 blocks, but If a spinner would up my odds, then I would be willing to try it. Thanks

In my experience it is a a draw at best. Sometimes it helps, sometime they flare off. But if a remote control is legal where you hunt--then a spinner may work better as you can use it as a long distance sort of 'flagging" by turn it on momentarily and the brief flashing would be a plus in my opinion in catching their attention. And usually being water is so deep--you'll need a floating stand for it. Put it on the upwind side of the spread IMO.

It would be prett sweet to have a company come up with a bluebill or goldeneye spinner. Or you could just paint a mallard spinner like one. I think on some days it will help and on some days it won't.
