I am looking for a ballistics report on steel shot. I found one for lead, but have not found anything for steel.
In particular, I am looking to find the flat trajectory distance of #4 steel, 1 1/16 oz out a a 2 3/4" shell, 12 g. Just how far will such travel before hitting the ground? The chart I found for lead showed the angles necessary to get out to different distances.
Here's the charts for lead: http://www.shotgunsportsmagazine.com/do ... istics.pdf
In this chart it takes a 30* angle to shoot #4 lead shot approx. 280 yards. There has to be something similar for steel. Any/all help is greatly appreciated!
