I bought a new O/U last may and did not shoot it very much due to moving. Now I find the comb is really to high for me and i can't seem to find a gun smith in or around Corpus Christi, TX to do the work. From all the fedback I have been given I need a smith that is able to rasp the comb down and refinish the stock afterwards. Do any of you Texas folks know where such a smith is within 200 miles of Corpus? I would like to have a smith that you can recommend from previous work. your best bet is to visit a gander mountain or Cabelas (large gun store) and ask their gunsmith for some info. They usually know the local shops that can fit a stock for you.
