I heard they get pretty big in the Columbia and Snake rivers. Are they this big?

We get WAY BIGGER than that. that is small for the columbia. they are that big in the snohomish river. Bigger than 6 feet on the columbia. had one bump my leg one time thought it was a log. HUGE up here in washington!

I know if I ever caught a sturgeon like that I would make sure that my grip was a little tighter on the tail than the guy in the picture does. HaHa!!! :salude:

I watched a friend catch one that was almost as long as a 16 ft boat. wish I had picks.

My best fish so far is an 8 footer from below McNary. If you want monster fish, go to Beacon Rock below Bonneville. Fish don't have any obstacles clear to the Pacific, I'd bet good money theres at least 1 20 footer down there. Whether you'll land him or not, that another story
