i think talquin is closed to

 

Leon County and Lake Miccosukee in Leon and Jefferson
counties--Waterfowl hunting is permitted only on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays during the open season and on Nov. 27 and 28, Dec. 25 and 26, 2008, Jan. 1, 2, and 19, 2009. Lake Talquin in Gadsden and Leon counties and the Ochlockonee River are open to hunting every day during the regular waterfowl season.

 

Besides the wood ducks on talquin youll probably see some bluebills and canvasbacks on the open water. just remember you cant shoot cans this year.

Unfortunately she is too scared of gators to go out with me in the mornings on the kayak that my friend lets me borrow. We have dove hunted together and deer hunted(no success), but until I get a canoe or a boat, she stick to cooking what I bring home.

 

How can she be scared of gators. She has a gun. Oh, that's right, with y'all being 'noles, you should be scared of GATORS. :thumbsup:

 

I like that on belly up, although I must confess I am a Tim Tebow fan. I went to the FSU-UF game, I wore garnet, but inside I was cheering for the Gators. Ive always been a Gators fan. Hasn't changed.
