At first I thought this was funny.... Then I realized the awful truth of it.

Be sure to read all the way to the end!

Tax his land,
Tax his bed,
Tax the table
At which he's fed.

Tax his work,
Tax his pay,
He works for peanuts
Anyway!

Tax his cow,
Tax his goat,
Tax his pants,
Tax his coat.

Tax his tobacco,
Tax his drink,
Tax him if he
Tries to think.

Tax his car,
Tax his gas,
Find other ways
To tax his ass.

Tax all he has
Then let him know
That you won't be done
Till he has no dough.

When he screams and hollers;
Then tax him some more,
Tax him till
He's good and sore.

Then tax his coffin,
Tax his grave,
Tax the sod in
Which he's laid.

When he's gone,
Do not relax,
It's time to apply
The inheritance tax.

Accounts Receivable Tax
Airline surcharge tax
Airline Fuel Tax
Airport Maintenance Tax
Building Permit Tax
Cigarette Tax
Corporate Income Tax
Death Tax
Dog License Tax
Driving Permit Tax
Environmental Tax (Fee)
Excise Taxes
Federal Income Tax
Federal Unemployment (UI)
Fishing License Tax
Food License Tax
Gasoline Tax (too much per litre)
Gross Receipts Tax
Health Tax
Hunting License Tax
Power Tax
Inheritance Tax
Interest Tax
Liquor Tax
Luxury Taxes
Marriage License Tax
Medicare Tax
Mortgage Tax
Personal Income Tax
Property Tax
Prescription Drug Tax
State and Municipal Income and sales tax
Real Estate Tax
Recreational Vehicle Tax
Retail Sales Tax
Service Charge Tax
School Tax
Telephone Federal Tax
Telephone Federal, State and Local Surcharge Taxes
Telephone Minimum Usage Surcharge Tax
Vehicle License Registration Tax
Vehicle Sales Tax
Water Tax
Watercraft Registration Tax
Well Permit Tax
Workers Compensation Tax

and now a Health Tax.

STILL THINK THIS IS FUNNY?

Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago, & our nation was one of the most prosperous in the world. We had absolutely no national debt, had a large middle class, and Mom stayed home to raise the kids.

What in "Hell" happened? Can you spell 'politicians?' Remember 2010 is here . DUMP CONGRESS - Restore Checks and Balances, Uphold the Constitution, Save the Republic.

I just got that one too. Its a sad state of affairs.

At least the people of Mass. finally pulled their heads out of their posteriors and for the first time in 46 years are not represented by a murderer. :hammer:

I am under the opinion that we live in the greatest country in the world, and i am personally more than willing to pay my fair share of taxes to live here.We pay virtually the lowest tax rate in the modern world 2nd lowest next to Ireland. and that is an undisputable fact i have read many articles on it and have even seen many people on fox news admit it. are we that greedy that we are not willing to foot the bill for Our country.do the anti tax people actually care about the USA or do they only care about their wallet? And all the BS retoric about the constiutionality of the healthcare taxes and redistribution of wealth, I hate to tell you wherever you have a sliding tax bracket you have "redistribution of wealth". I personally would take a tax on my healthcare plan (which will happen) instead of having some guy from the FBI or ATF listen to my phone calls beacuse i bought a little to much blue dot powder from Sportco for their comfort, (thank you Patriot act). Now that is a violation of the constitution and what we stand for! everybody rips Obama (whom i did not support) and the dems for the Bank bailout The Bush administration was the one that passed that and most of the Republican congress/senate voted for it including John Mccain.the DEMS loved it also.
so i have a better idea lets not bitch about taxes lets bitch about how their used stupid wars, corporate bailouts, oil company subsidies, paying farmers to grow stuff no one wants. corn is currenty selling at a cost below the production rate. and the corporate scumbags and banks have the farmers by the short hairs like they own them. we are in desperate need of campaign reform to kick big money out of politics, of course us little guys just got a little smaller today with the supreme courts decision to loosen up the campaign finance laws to give buisnesses and unions a little more room to spend at will , The poor fellows felt like thier freedm of speech was being violated not being able to spend millions to buy votes to screw over the middle class. we are screwed! might as well move to China now. good luck the rest of the season

I am all for the "fair share" theory but they tax my unemployment. I really think that some off this is out of hand, we live with in our means so should the government.

our nation was founded with $75.5 million in debt. With inflated dollars, what do you think that equals back in 1776 to today?
I agree with the tax issues and whatnot, but there's no leg to stand on if the facts aren't straight.

we've NEVER BEEN WITHOUT NATIONAL DEBT. It has only grown since the founding of the republic.

This is very true. but many of the founding fathers believed we needed a national debt. Read Thomas Paine's Common Sense.

Now we sure as hell don't need a deficit of 40 percent per term.

People who manage money better,( debt to income ratio is better) are more responsible as a rule of thumb. I am not talking about the unfortunate who come down with an illness and not able to work, etc. I am talking about the irresponsible people who spend money like water and lead irresponsible lives. This is shown in there driving records/ higher risk/ therefore cost more for their insurance. This is why people with higher credit ratings get cheaper auto insurance, higher credit rating means more a responsible person ( as a rule of thumb not ALL the time). Why should people who are respnsible be punished finacially? This is my point. It has nothing to do with how much money you make, but how responible you are.

unless you inherited your money from mommy or daddy and you have a sense of entitlement and are a complete screw off, watch TV sometimes it is full of rich kids on reality shows acting like morons but i bet they have good credit scores.I think insurance companies need to look at driving records only.

naa that's crap. even rich folks have crappy credit. having money doesn't mean you know what to do with it.

elton john and michael jackson come to mind. extreme examples, sure, but lots of money and horrible credit.

Donald Trump has filed for bankruptcy how many times? He's bad with OTHER PEOPLE's money.

Right or wrong, no matter how you feel about credit scores versus insurance premiums......More goverment intervention/ regulation ALwAYS means higher prices!!!! Cmon Dustin we have to agree on that!!!!
more gov intervention regulation also means higher wages, ballance in the middle class, less spred between rich and poor.

no, I agree, government intervention is a bigger and bigger problem every day. I also agree that the spread between the poor and rich is crap. Poverty can only be defined while in the presences of wealth. Those who think that the balance of money needs to be spread out more are likely just jealous.

However, I do believe that law is a good thing, when its used. For instance, snow goose hunters who shoot snow geese from the side of the road should get a ticket! holding illegal hunters accountable will help increase ethics among all. Lettings things slide tells everyone its OK to let things slide.

Same is true in govt. I think the salary caps and the bonus taxes are totally bogus AND HYPOCRITICAL TO COME FROM A GROUP WHO CAN VOTE THEIR OWN RAISES....

however, I think that if a CEO is going to accept $50mil a year and is prepared to tell the people his company is "too big to fail" then he better be able to bear MUCH more weight on his shoulders than just the risk of being fired with a $100mil severence. Prison time and removal of monies comes to mind.

yes taxes are a problem. Yes there is a happy balance between the two, anarchy is not right but socialism, which we have basically embraced, is not right either.
