Shiner Bock is my favorite... it goes great with steak, ribs, duck, etc. The Shiner Light is new & can only be bought in Texas. :hammering:

I dont think it gets any more Texan than a cold Lone Star Longneck, goes great with rodeo, Bob Wills, and Bar-B-Cue.

I'm not a big LoneStar beer fan, but I have to say it sure goes well with BBQ.

A lot of Texans do like Shiner though (I don't care for it myself, too sweet). I personally prefer the champagne of beer in the summer and Sam Adams in the winter.

Im Texan and i just dont care at all for Shiner....the dark beers belong in Germany and Ireland or somewhere...and if you are a manufacturer of dark beer you cant try to reconcile with things like pale or blonde impostors. Just my opinion and nothing at all agains those of yall that like it. I know its from a lil brewery in Shiner, Tx....and though im Texan I just cant seem to choke it down.
