hey yall,

just wondering what you guys use (if you use anything) to help your dogs get traction when jumping out of the boat. Ive noticed hank slips some of the time when trying to get out of the boat fast and in a hurry after a bird when the deck is wet. he hasnt fell too hard or slipped hard enough to hurt something but i Know its only a matter of time before something bad happens if i dont try something.

just to paint you a picture i've got a 16 foot flat bottom alumminum john boat with the two bench seats (one in the back and another in the middle of the boat). I send him from the tops of the back bench seat where i will sit.

thanks

Buy a small can of the paint on bed liner.

In my airboat, I have the floor cover with aluminum, and I painted it with paint, sprinked sand on it pretty heavy, let it dry. Then washed of the extra sand that did not stick, and repainted over it when it dry from the washing off the water.

It is working out great. Keeps my clients from slipping and bust'n their butts, and allows the dog the same advantages. cooter
