Wow!! It makes you wonder why someone would immigrate to the U.S. if they loved their country of origin so much? We can speculate on why they would put the flag of Mexico above the flag of the United States of America on a flag pole. I would guess that the owner of that particular establishment is just a jerk.

Here in Nevada in a small town called Pahrump they actually made english the official language of the town! They also made it so any official paper work for the town was to be in english only. Here is a story on it:

That is fantastic. I have no issue with being proud to be Mexican, but you don't fly the flag that way. It is possible this person didn't realize how they were flying the flags incorrectly, but I doubt it!!!

And though I am sure it was a typo, the subject line of this string spells American with a lower case "a." Let's keep using the capital "A" when referring to our great country and its citizens. :thumbsup:

Actually the Texas state flag can legally be flown over the American flag. That's because they won their independance without the aid of federal troops.

I don't see how you say that. Well I do, and I agree, but I disagree at the same side. They won their independance from Mexico on their own, just like we earned our independance from Britan on our own (with some help from the Frenchies). They won it alone, but still think Old Glory should be higher. They did join the US. I agree and disagree with you. I hope everyone could understand that babble.
