Anyone on here do any spring snow goose hunting in Vermont that might be willing to let me tag along for a hunt or two? Ive never been on a snow goose hunt mainly because I live in the NEK and there are hardly any snows that fly through here. I've got a layout and would be more than willing to help set out and pick up deks or whatever else was needed!
Just got back from Nebraska, killed 323 in 4 days. After hunting out there Vermont is a waste of time if you want to put some numbers on the table IMO.
kind of lurking in the background out of Massachusetts, but if I didn't see a one snow overhead all season long last year....I imagine there aren't a significant population enough to take advantage of or even buy decoys for. I too have hunted them out west and its a different ball game when the population is in what seems like the millions. fun to shoot a lot but once you've done it that experience is tough to replicate if you live in this area.
