The Lacrosse Brush Tuffs are definitely warm. One day this season I remember after hunting we went to the truck and I took off my waders to find they were kind of moist inside. Those things were so warm I had been sweating in them, and it was 17 degrees. Speaking of waders, my girlfriends dad found a pair of Brush Tuffs in the road on his way to work. They are identical to mine, even the same size, and they look like they have never been worn. He doesn't hunt and he was showing them to me and then he said, "Why don't you go put these in your truck". I tried to be nice at first and told him to keep em, but he insisted I take em, so now I have 2 pairs of Brush Tuffs.
Never really tried anything else besides the rubber ones from wal-mart, but they got a big hole in the this year. I am glad I got rid of those because it felt like it was pulling the hair out of my legs once my pants didn't stay down. I got some new ones from wally world they aren't the rubber ones, it is like a cloth materal, it is pretty comfortable.
I got a pair of Cabelas Ulltimate Waders last year at the tent sale of 25 bucks because the had a "hole" in them. Well I found no hole and they are the best pair of waders I have ever owned. I was real thrilled about the velcro when I bought them but after a season of use I love it more than the suspeders.
I bought a pair of Cabelas warrior 1000. They aren't neoprene - and have a gortex like breathable chest and back layer. Your feet still sweat, (try some baby powder or under arm deodorant on your feet, it really helps) but your crotch and chest and back area breath more. They have a double denier wrap from the knees down and are extremely tough. I wear these year round. My son gets my neoprenes.
