Not good for the southern PPHR of the US being the lack of snow cover which means very little snow melt or the very critical sheet water that the Mallards and Pintails need right after they arrive. So not looking to good for MN SD, and southern part of ND
The snow line is from the Twin Cities to Fargo to Minot ND. North of this line there was decent (average) snows and was decent moisture last fall.
I have not heard about CA yet--especially AB and SK. MB will do great this spring. They had the wettest summer on record last year--lots of sheet water in the feilds last fall hampered getting the grain in. So MB will be ranked as great IMO.
