My aluminum boat has wood bench seats and of course a plywood transom. The paint is getting pretty old on the seats and the transom, so I am going to sand them down and repaint them. I was curious what people use to seal them from moisture.

Any help I can get is appreciated

Simply, since your talking wood, several good coats of exterior paint.

Anything wood on a boat i cover with sikkens. After 4 coats it looks like it would make it through a twister
