Was scheduled to be out on the ocean in the morning, but it loks like Gale Warnings so may have to postpone. NOA is calling for 4-7 foot seas and gusts 40-50 with steady 20-30.
Next weekend is looking better-n-better.
Will probably have to make a quick hunt in a small protected cove close to home. Tide will be perfect (low) and the eiders will want refuge from the rough open water. It's actually an easy hunt, just have to walk about a half mile down a beach - no decoys - stand in thigh deep surf and pass shoot as they pass over a sand bar going to mussel beds.
Geese on Sunday.
Will report back Monday!
