If its a rabbit eared percussion cap from 150 years ago I'd be surprised. Just to let you know I had a replica of one of those that didn't fire when I was a kid. Looked damn real but didn't have a hole in the pan. I wouldn't get your hopes up. Post a pic when you can. I'm sure I can ID it.
