I hunted Bayou Meto last year. It's supposed to be the best but I didn't kill anything. I was thinking about White River NWR, Felsenthal, or even Harris Brake. Lake Ouachita is real close to me. I live in Hot Springs.

The Metro is definitely not the best public land hunting in AR anymore. You need to look up in the NE corner of the state.

just wondering if anyone has ever heard of drop hunts? You know where someone takes you out and puts you on some ducks and comes back and gets you that afternoon.

I have hunted the duck area at Harris Brake Lake, and didn't really like it. all the ducks knew to stay away from it, and they stayed up on the main lake where you can't hunt. That has just been my encounters out there.

I like hunting Ed Gordon/Point Remove WMA, but then again so does every other person in the state it seems, LOL.
